Yesterday, I went for an interview at HCL company. The day before yesterday, I was looking for a new job opening on different job portals and I saw numerous posts on various companies' jobs. Suddenly I saw a job post by HCL Technologies, the best part of that was the interview would be on the next day and that day was a holiday in my institute. It was an excellent opportunity for me to check my English level at the MNC company. The interview was at sector 60, Noida. I went there with one copy of my resume. When I entered in HCL premises, the security guards stop me promptly. I asked the reason for that. "Sir you must wear the mask", he said. I hadn't a face mask that time so I went outside to purchase it. After that, I entered once again and did all the formalities. I was given an ID. I wore the ID card and entered the main building where the interviews were going on. In the HCL office, there was a great security mechanism, we couldn't enter and exit without an ID card. At the entrance of the main building, a security guard allowed me by putting his ID card on the scanner machine. There were so many candidates there, approx more than 50, and all had sat on their chairs in the corridor. I also sat on one of the vacant chairs and started waiting for my turn. Most candidates were very educated and highly experienced. There would hardly anyone who didn't have an experience like me . After some wait, my turn came. I was told to go for the interview. There was another candidate who went inside along with me for the interview. The Interview wasn't very hard, It was quite simple. The interviewer was very polite and friendly. He just wanted to know, your qualification and your experience and nothing else. The interview was straightforward and to the point. He rejected me due to my lack of experience in the respective field. He told me "We need those candidates, who have good experience in the required field". I learnt so many things today and it was a different type of experience which I got today.
