There is a saying that "cinema is the mirror of society," but now the time has totally changed and cinema is not a mirror of society anymore. It is only a way of earning by, to intension to leave an impact the society and these daily soaps are the live examples of it. Why am I saying this? there are some valid reasons behind that which would leave us in think. The primary audiences in the daily soap are mainly housewives, who generally spend their free time watching these shows. As I have observed many times, these shows are generally made to entertain their audiences without thinking about the message they are conveying to society. These daily soap serials never talked about women's liberation and individual growth. These daily shows always remind us that women are only for children and manage to the house. According to these serials, women's achievements depend on the way how they manage their houses. They always support conservative ideologies. Always listen to your husband and never argue with your husband. They are constantly attempting to portray the good wife by claiming that a good wife never responds to her mother-in-law and her husband and that the husband is everything to her. These serials always try to confine the women to the four walls of the house. I just have a question: Have you ever seen a daily soap serial in which a woman goes to work and does everything or manages a business? These daily soaps always support a male-dominated society and never show a woman being motivated. By watching all kinds of serials, women are losing their confidence and thinking capacity. By watching these, they start assuming that they are dependent people. Women never think, there is also a world apart from marriage. You can also enjoy your life after marriage and start your business as well, but watching this kind of stuff, people never think about these things. Most married women who are influenced by serials begin to have negative thoughts about their in-laws. They never think that all families are not bad. Real-world is much more than beyond the serial.
